Changing colors

When I changed to a custom template, zen cart changed all the header bars to pink and purple? why? then when I try to open the css style sheet you can't read it in notepad. Do I have to ftp it to my pc and then open it in Dreamweaver? I saw part of it and its a huge style sheet. what are the color bars named in css?

How can I change the headers back to the nice orange ones that were there to begin with?

Please help, I can't find it in FAQ . Does anyone have a link to it?

I think that the reason for all the colors is to make it easy to find each entry.

Yes you need to FTP the css file to your local and then use notepad, DM or a code editor to edit., then ftp back to host.

To ease this for you either get FireFox and the web developer tools as you can interactively edit the css and then save it locally and ftp this edited file to your host.

Or: check the doenloads area for a template for 1.3.x and apply this to your shop, most are relatively complete and might be a shorter path to getting the look that you want.
