here is my problem. im selling shoes/boots on my webstore, and you have to choose colors and sizes for them. the problem is that some shoes come in different colors, and that some sizes only come for certain colors. is there a way to make it so that when you choose a color, it changes the size options for that shoe?

As to individual Stock by Attribute ... this is not available in Zen Cart at this time ...

It is scheduled for release in v1.4 ...

You can offer the sizes and colors ... I am saying at this time you cannot track the stock per color and size combo ... this will be coming out in v1.4

Until then ... you can make separate products if you like to work around this issue ...

The Cross Sell add-on is handy for relating like Products together ...

cross sell add-on, can you explain to me.. or link me to something to explain... this has to be a problem to other zencarters, because something as simple as this could not be a unique problem... do you think that there is possibly an add-on that was created for this out there?

you would think zencart would have such a thing for such a normal issue

I am sorry that Zen Cart does not today have a Stock by Attribute for you ...

It will in v1.4 ...

You can search the forum and see what others may have come up with this ... but many fall short or are limited in capacity ... or will not work in conjunction with the Zen Cart v1.4 ...

I don't have the threads for these add-ons off the top of my head ... I'd have to use the search in the upper left of the screen just like you would to find them ...

Perhaps someone who has these and utilizes them could expand on them for you ...

thank you for your help.. i can probably just stick to the current zencart version as long as i could get the function now, i really wouldnt need to upgrade later, as i almost have everything i need to run the shop correctly, you know?

Security issues, Bug Fixes, New Features you don't even realized you are dreaming of ...

Keep good backups of everything, before, during and after updating your site to add-ons for Zen Cart ...
