Aha, finally found a post about editing the Welcome Email (which proved to be tricky since "Welcome" is removed from searches. Arh!) but I'm not having as much luck as you. My "Email Welcome" in Admin only shows the preview/sample... no place to edit it? I know I'm overlooking something obvious...

Yay. Figured it out. It's in languages/english/create_account.php.
