    Default Client driving me nuts!!!!

    Hi Oracle,

    I made the changes.
Now, instead of a timeout, I get the following:

Warning: session_start(): The session id contains invalid characters, valid characters are only a-z, A-Z and 0-9 in /home/woor/public_html/elegance/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 100

Warning: session_start(): Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /home/woor/public_html/elegance/includes/functions/sessions.php:100) in /home/woor/public_html/elegance/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 100

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/woor/public_html/elegance/includes/functions/sessions.php:100) in /home/woor/public_html/elegance/includes/init_includes/init_templates.php on line 78

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/woor/public_html/elegance/includes/functions/sessions.php:100) in /home/woor/public_html/elegance/includes/functions/functions_general.php on line 41

Warning: Unknown(): The session id contains invalid characters, valid characters are only a-z, A-Z and 0-9 in Unknown on line 0

Warning: Unknown(): Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct (/tmp) in Unknown on line 0

I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, it just keeps getting dimmer

    Regards
    Col

    Hi,

    More info...

Seems as though the session_id() contains this:
    16224d473dd367055fb47af88c76ea2a&crypt=ACwMFR8Xei4IRzxRCCErOgcgLg4OAXpTc1FcBFB2d HhrbVVRXEIRMRA1En0CeD94Y2hdUVomdUxyJSgGS3V0eGJ1XVFaVGpRd1NZBFUAd3tjbVgcTDA

    No wonder it is conplaining.
Why is the session_id() containing the crypt info??

    Regards

    Ok,

I can now login...it was a little ######## up on my behalf.
I had an include for a tracker that was screwing that up...i have now commented that out.

Still getting the same invalid session_id error message.

What I would do cokey is search the forum for protx and read every thread there is.

Chances are someone else has had the same problem along the line.
Then Id tell your customer to stop being such a cheapskate and tell them to buy an ssl cert to protect the data that is collected like names and addresses by zen.... politely of course.

Id then remove the Zen cart tag line in the title of every page of the site..... oh and install the Image Handler 2 contribution.

This topic seem to answer the question regarding protx activities:

This should definitely resolve the issue you're currently facing.
Sorry, this won't help, and will be more likely to give you problems due to file permissions rather than solve anything.... esp as evidenced by:
Warning: Unknown(): Failed to write session data (files). Please verify that the current setting of session.save_path is correct (/tmp) in Unknown on line 0

I have NOT checked to see whether a ; gets dropped while displaying whos-online output, but if not, then from the screenshot you provided, there is at least one clear problem:

    /elegance/index.php?main_page=checkout_process&ampzenid=11c92b2fca02bbb37d8f32dcbc4cf1c7&crypt=blahblahblah
The problem is that the parameter for the zenid is malformed.

It should be & or & not just &amp

I'm not sure where in the code it's doing that, but it looks like something's not creating the link properly (unless whos-online is scrubbing out ; marks for some reason, which as I said, I haven't checked for).
