What's New Box border overlaps new product

Hi All,

I've searched the forum for "Whats_New" to try to find information about a problem I am having. On the main page to my store in the center column I have a "What's New for July" box. I figured out how to add a border by adding the centerBoxWrapper definition to my CSS. The problem I am having now is that the bottom border of the box overlaps my one "new" product. Basically the new box does not "contain" my new product. Is this a CSS issue? How can I expand the box to hold my one item? The Configuration, Index settings are set at 9 products.
