Free Template "Future Zen" v1.2 Support Thread

I am using Future Zen, & need to completely remove the header image & use a banner as a shop logo instead. I have tried deleting the file (includes/templates/future_zen/images/header_bg.jpg) but this leaves an empty space at the top of the page.

I have also tried following the Zen Cart Tutorial "How to Remove the Header Completely" but that does not work, possibly these instructions require you to copy a file to the 'common' directory in the Future Zen directory - & there is no such directory there! I've tried creating it, & putting the modified file in it, but that does not work either.

Please - how do I remove this logo & the space it occupies.

A link to your site and the name and location of the image file that you are seeking to use in your header would be helpful.

This is the site.

I don't want to replace the Zen Arches image with anything -I want to remove it altogether.

As you can see, the banners at the top (which change when you refresh the page) will provide the shop identity (obviously I intend to add text & change the background to match the rest of the page, later).

I also need to:

• Bring the banner down the page, so that it is just above the blue strip that the Zen Arch logo presently overlaps
• Preserve the 'Home', 'Log In' &c. links, so that they appear between the banner & the blue stripe.

My best guess so far has been to replace header_bg.jpg with a 1px square .gif image... but I also suspect that I just don't understand what is going on here!

Any advice will be appreciated

Since you want to remove the contents of the logoWrapper, the best approach would be to create a common folder in your template as you discussed above, put a copy of the tpl_header.php file in the template_default's common folder into your new common folder, then edit the copy to remove the div with ID logoWrapper and all its contents.

I as wondering how I could move my logo down a few pixels because it seems the white on my logo is overlapping the blue border on header_bg
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
BTW, I love this template. It is so easy to upload and gives me that rounded corner I was looking for. Cudos!

Adding the following to your stylesheet should sort this out for you
