No Option Names for Option Values - Help!

Not sure it is related but the subject seems correct....

I have added an option name - message for gift tag - and assigned it to option type - text.



But when I try to add this to a product in attribute controller it says

Warning: No Option Values have been defined

What are you selecting for the Option Value when in the Attributes Controller and trying to add this to the Product?

Please help I have a big problem I don't know why but now when I try to insert option name "Colour" option type text and its options values the option names list on options values did'nt show "Colour" and I need to insert all the colours from a model with a text file in order to customer can introduce quantity for each colour.
My friends I don't know what's the matter because I've created before different option names and its option values with option type file and have no problem. Perhaps it is possible that text file attributes option type are limited to any quantity of them and when you try to make more than this quantity it is not possible????

When you make an Option Name as the Option Type TEXT you do not create Option Values ...

You select the Option Name that you make and then select, as the Option Value, the one listed as:
TEXT [RESERVED FOR TEXT/FILES ONLY ATTRIBUTES]
