Default Pleae help!! How to hide info in drop downs?

    Hi!

Currently when you look at my drop down it says for example

    3oz Tub
    9oz Jar (+3.75)(+.5)

or something like that... how do I get it to hide the +3.75 and +.5. I don't want it to show the difference in weight and price. I'm putting that in the description.

I also want to hide product weight and products available from the product listings. Please please help!!

    Thanks!
    Rachel

attribute weight can be turned off by going to

Catalog > Product Types > Product General . click on Edit layout

select show Attribute weight and set that to false

I am not sure if you can turn off attribute prices factor from admin section .

You would have to customize the attributes module to not display the Price on the Attributes ... just the weights are designed to be turned off with a switch ...

You would have to edit the file:
    /includes/modules/attributes.php

and locate all the prices and remove them from the display or comment them out ...

Personally I would have the prices in the Attributes and you can reference them in the description if need be, but I am not sure why you would want to do that as, as a customer, I would want to see the charges as I am selecting things and not have to dig through a Product Description to hunt down prices etc.
