Remove New Products For July

Hello All

I know it's a stupid question but I've spent ages looking for the answer and i can't find it (i seem to be doing that loads) All i want to do is remove the new products for July as you can see www.niodonline.co.uk/catalog i don't need it as it's intended to be a very simple user friendly with out to many options (more is still to be added though) almost fool proof.

If ant one finds any obvious mistakes will you be kind enough to let me know

Would like to say the forum has provided me with loads of answers on the spot thus allowing me to get this far with my store as I'm a total newbie and was (and am) totally clueless i don't understand how i would have achieved the little that i have. I don't under stand when people moan about it...

Go to admin ------->Configuration -------->Index Listing and turn off/on the options listed

Thanks sheila for your quick response. I've tried that already and it turns the images off as well. can i place them in another option??

Are you trying to turn off the Text and leave the actual New Products that are displayed?

If so ...

Go to the Tools ... Developer's Tool Kit ...

Do a search on: New Products for

In the bottom input box ... notice I did not include the rest of the sentence as things that "change" usually are coded ...

Select Catalog ... and Click the Search ...

This will show you where this is defined in the language files ...

The other method is to change the module for the New Products:
/includes/modules/new_products.php

Copy that to your overrides directory:
/includes/modules/your_template_dir/new_products.php

And edit the lines for the title on lines 69 and 71 ... comment them out and set:
$title = '';
