Placing banners below the footer?

Hello,

I have a number of "top sites" banners that I would like to put on my page but I don't want them to be as visible as other parts of my website. Is there any way to place these below the footer? Right now the background for my main sections and footer of my website is white. The background is black. I would like to place the top sites banners in the black section. I tried modifying TPL_Footer.php but this put them banners in the white section below the copyright info.

Not sure what template you have but there are 3 banner areas for the footer region ...

You should be able to set one of those to your liking to include the Banner Group(s) you have added your banners to in the Banner Manager ...

Just a suggestion- Have you installed a default copy of the program *with* the demo products and information? Might save you some time to be able to refer to it and read the instructions included on various pages.

Hello,

I figured out how to display all the banners at once by copying the HTML text in inserting it where requested in Banner Manager. I turned associated one of the footer spots in Configuration, Layout Setting. The problem I am having now is that all the banner are showing up in the white section at the bottom of my pages before the Home link. I really want them to show below in the dark section (my background is dark) How is it that the regular image banners do show up in the lower section and the text banners do not?

UPDATE: I figured it out. I changed my banner group to associate with Footer 3 instead of 1. Now my grouping is in the background section of my page. Before it was too close to my product information.
