does anyone know how i can change admin password?

Welcome to zen-cart, styleon..
You can change it from mysql
Go to phpmyadmin and change it in the admin table
Delete the password field(you cant change it since its encrypted)

Alternatively, go to Admin in zencart and then Tools->Admin Settings

It is phpmyadmin
Do you have Cpanel?
There you have option for phpmyadmin

got it... i changed it from tools. thanks for the help.

i was using comersus shopping cart before where right after instalation one would have to change the name of the access database so that nooe could judt type the url and download it from the website (since it was opensourse the name and location of the database was the same) Would i have to do anything to this cart to make it secure?

Where are you getting your information on how Zen Cart works? Never go to the database to change a password!!! Admin passwords can be changed in the Admin!

The only time you would ever need to go to the database is if you were "locked out" and you would have to reset the whole account.

For the security questions- see the /docs/ directory security recommendations.

Sorry Kim, I assumed that styleon forgot his admin password and therefore he wanted to change it and that was the only resort( which is fast, resetting from database directly)
Although there is "Email password" method too to retrieve the password
