new option for order status?

I have not updated to the latest version yet. But, I had a client cancel an order, and I did not want the record of the transaction to disappear (such as deleting the order). Is there a way to add another option to the order status dropdown options, such as order cancelled? What I want is for when an order is cancelled, to chose the order cancelled option. Then, the order would not show as awaiting shipment.

You could add a new Orders Status for Cancelled ...

Consider first adding Partial Refund and then Cancelled as it may help in the future with managing your Orders ...
