Downloads have no shipping charges ...

Is this both a physical product and a download combination?

Or is this a physical product -- or -- a download choice?

The new v1.3 has a built in feature for Product/Download combos so that there can be shipping for the physical part of the Product but it will still allow for Downloads ...

I found this in a archived post.

I have a product that can be either downloaded or shipped to the customer.
I am not sure exactly how to set it up for shipping charge on the physical product and no shipping on the downloadable product.

anybody know of a thread I can read on this?

My main problem is that I can not get shipping to go away when download is selected. I know it must be some setting some where but I can't find it.

If this is a Product that is *either* a Download or a Shipped Product and not both ...

If the Product weight were 7lbs ... set the weight of the Download to -7 so that the weight would then be 0 and not effect the weight on a Shipping ...

Sorry it took so long to reply but I'm a truck driver and I have been gone all week.

The product is either a download or physical but not both. If you choose us-mail everything works fine. (shipping cost determined by total price of order not by weight of item). When choosing download it goes through the same process, with a shipping cost. is it weight related as I do not have any weights on any of our items?
