    Default cart setup

Hi installing zc 1.3.9 on linux server...
configuring client side using XAMPP on a windows base laptop using dreamweaver CS5
    Need to:

1: install zc on laptop to modify/configure then upload changes to server.

2: set zc up so the customer clicks on add to cart and/or goto cart from one of our menu pages (http://petnutritionsystems.com/dogmenu.html for example).

3: set zc so it will do reg/logon, quantity modifications and checkout using our mechant account...

I am not a total noob, but pretty much...

On the back end I am going to need to establish distribution list for stock, sales by product, Production and order confirmation to the customer.

Order confirmation to the customer, production and accounting is most important for the launch of the cart, the rest can be done later (ie stock, sales tracking, etc)

Thanks in advance for any help!!!

ZenCart is not designed to be a cart backend for an html site for several reasons, mostly security ones

Your design can be mostly replicated as a ZenCart template where ZenCart becomes your main page/application

Highly suggest that for ZenCart you DONOT use dreamweaver for any ZenCart alterations

Would you mind elaborating about zc and dreamweaver?

Also, is there an inexpensive backend option to implement that you
    Recommend?

Thanks alot for your quick response! I have to have a functional
AND relatively secure cart up quickly, the backend stuff can
    Come later...

dreamweaver was designed a WYSIWUG HTML page constructor and it only barely does this as it creates bloated code
It should NEVER be used for a php application no matter what they say

Google, as most just add a buy now button to your pages

I have not seen a "secure" option for what you are seeking to do out of the box....

I did state that your design could be fairly simple to convert to a ZenCart and you could then scrap your current pages
