Problem with Customer authorization/shop status

Zen Cart 1.2.1

I have the following settings enabled:

Customer Shop Status - View Shop and Prices - set to 1
Customer Approval Status - Authorization Pending - set to 1

This is how I want my cart to run, however when I have these settings enabled the following important pages cannot be viewed:

Forgot your password?
Privacy Statement

How do I keep the settings above, but have my customer have access to these pages to create an account or get a lost password without logging in?

That is a very very old version and a very old bug ...

I don't have that version even setup ...

If you download Zen Cart v1.2.7 and compare the /includes/application_top.php there is a line in the section for the customer authorization that included additional pages that could be run ...

This might help you resolve this ...

NOTE: it is highly recommended that you upgrade to at least v1.2.7 ... there are bugfixes and security issues that have been addressed since that ancient version that you are running ...

Thanks for the reply, I am not oo good with coding, so would it be possible for you/someone to possibly give me the code that i can add to the application_top.php file and also let me know where more or less i should insert it?

I don't know when I would have time to install this ancientm buggym security ridden code to test and make this work ... :eek:

Perhaps someone else has it running around on a site to test or has time on their hands ... :smile:
