    1. as per superprg's answer
    2. Admin > Configuration > Layout Settings > Categories-Tabs Menu ON/OFF
    3. Forgotten
    4. Not for 1.3. I just search the source code for the thing I want to change, note the relevant IDs and classes and then find them in the stylesheet.
XHTML compliance link: tpl_main_page.php (right at the bottom) [Note: this appears to have been dropped from 1.3.0.2]

ok. thanks for the help guys. youre helping me to get past some obstacles here. thx.

im getting the hang of the stylesheet now.

can i ask 2 more questions?

    1) what are the differences between stylesheet_original and _new? besides being two different files. what is the difference in the content? i seem to be only needing to modify original

    2) how can i adjust which links appear in the "information" sidebox? im sure that once i know this ill be able to make changes to the other sideboxes. dont know how to in general.

    many thanks,
    Marco.

You're using the "Classic" template which is intended for people upgrading from an earlier version of Zen Cart rather than building sites from scratch, for which a template based on the template_default is recommended. In broad terms I believe that the stylesheet_original reflects styling that would have been in the default version of old Zen Carts and stylesheet_new is the new styles introduced for version 1.3 features. However, as I work almost exclusively with the more modern, easier (and fun) template_default ... don't take this as gospel.

That's comprehensively answered in this thread.
