customizing e-mails to customers for order status, etc.

I am customizing the emails sent to customers when an order's status chages ie pending > processing, etc.

I commented out the "detailed Invoice:" line as this is ridicules to give a customer the url of the order.

Now my problem is: the original orders.php file is in admin/languages/english folder. Where should I put my revised file?????????????

I setup a admin/languages/english/mytemplates folder and put the orders.php in there but that didnt work!!!!

I put the same file in zen/admin/languages/english/mytemplates folder and that didnt work either!!!

Where should I put any admin files I revise for mytemplate?????????????????

OK,

Lets forget my original post. I now understand that I need to save my changed admin files to use after an update.

BUT!!! How do I eliminate this line from my emails to customers when order status has changed.

"Detailed Invoice: http://herbschina.com/zen1/index.php?main_page=account_history_info&order_id=2"

it is ridiculous and useless information to a customer. I have already sent them order information.

Help!!!!!!!!!!!

From your email/email_template_order_status.html file,

find:

<div>$EMAIL_TEXT_INVOICE_URL</div> 

Remove that entire line. It should do it.
