Making Static Pages in Zen Cart Site

Hi there,

1. What is the best way to create static pages which act as sort of place holders for certain ZenCart pages. E.g. I'd like to have the Site Map page as a static link (as opposed to main_page=site_map) and then the same for each of the categories of my products. The main reason for this is that I feel it will aid search engine optimization as google etc prefer non-dynamic pages - I am right in this?

2. My client says their site used to have a "links" page accessed on the main navigation pane - they say it was deactivated - they would like to reactivate it now - how do I go about doing this?

would an EZ-page work for your links?

Maybe but the version of ZenCart the site is running doesnt have EZ pages installed and I do not wish to upgrade. How can I use EZ pages in another way - i.e. where can I get it as a module?

Look for Unlimited Info Pages in the Downloads Archives. But, I would suggest upgrading for the additional features, bug fixes and security additions.
