International shipping and UPS

I have been shipping only within the US for the past 2 years but would like to extend my sales area to include Canada and the Bahamas.

I have figured out how to offer USPS international shipping, but I am stumped by UPS. When I go to the admin to edit the UPS services offered, there's a big list at the top that tells me this:

Shipping Methods:
Nxt AM, Nxt AM Ltr, Nxt, Nxt Ltr, Nxt PR, Nxt Save, Nxt Save Ltr, 2nd AM, 2nd AM Ltr, 2nd, 2nd Ltr, 3 Day Select, Ground, Canada,World Xp, World Xp Ltr, World Xp Plus, World Xp Plus Ltr, World Expedite
Select the UPS services to be offered.

However, I don't know which of the checkboxes beneath correspond to what I need to check to ship to Canada or the Bahamas.

One other small question relating to this is with Paypal:
If I go to my profile>payment receiving preferences there's a place to check "yes, accept payments in a currency other than USD and convert them to USD" but there's a warning that my Paypal IPN code needs to be updated if I change this. My Paypal IPN has always been set up for "selected currency" so I'm okay there?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, just about as soon as I posted this I had a brainstorm to help figure out what UPS international shipping boxes to check for Canada...

I checked ALL the boxes and then used a canadian address supplied by a potential customer (who is patiently waiting for me to resolve any issues I have about shipping to her) as my test "ship to" address.

When I saw what options came up in the cart, I noted the order in which all the results appeared and then went back and unchecked the ones that I didn't care to offer. (one method came up with $124.00 for shipping. lol). Then I went back to the cart, refreshed the checkout_shipping page that I was on and it gave me just what I wanted.

I still don't know what will happen for the Bahamas as I don't have a Bahamian "ship to" address to experiment with.

As far as the Paypal issue goes, I have added the Canadian Dollar to my currencies, along with the Bahamian Dollar, but in reading the Paypal IPN manual it appears that the Bahamian Dollar is not a supported currency.

Should I just delete the Bahamian Dollar as a currency and if they wish to use Paypal to pay by they will have to pay with funds in USD?

Also, I still don't know the answer to whether, if I change my paypal payment receiving options to allow payments in foreign currencies, there's anything I need to do to alter the IPN.

Well, not sure how much help I can be. I'm STILL setting up my cart. However we have an Ebay store and a web site we sell off of.

I decided not to ship via UPS because USPS goes to more countries at cheaper rates. The zen cart is more complicated to set up than a normal website or Ebay.

Plus as a business, I can order almost all my shipping boxes, stickers etc. from the Postal web site for free. Don't even pay the shipping.

The only down side is there tracking system sucks, at least UPS has a good tracking system.

Just my thoughts.
