Gift Certificate $.01

When a customer redeems a coupon it appears that 1 penny is still owed regardless how much they spend and how much the coupon is for. Is there a setting somewhere that I need to change to get this to stop happening?

Say the GC is for 50.00... they spend 10.00 at checkout it tells them they owe $.01.

Is this a clean install or an upgrade?

If an upgrade, what version did you upgrade from?
