Messenger Status for Zen Cart

Two questions:
1) I've installed it and the MSN image looks fine, except when I click on it, it doesn't send me to my Hotmail Messenger, only displays a Popup
2) The Yahoo image does not appear online, although it connects me fine.
Any solutions?

Hi, i have installed blank sidebox addons from here for my Yahoo Messenger status. Just simply insert this code

define('TEXT_BLANK_SIDEBOX', '<a href="ymsgr:sendIM?yourID"> <img border=0 src="http://opi.yahoo.com/online?u=yourID&amp;m=g&amp;t=2" /> </a>');

on blank_sidebox_defines.php
it work but usualy it not appears when i refresh the page. did anyone know how to fix this?
my zen cart version is v1.3.9e
