All products in a category on the screen while browsing.

Hi, I did some searching and couldn't find any topics about this.

What I would like to do is have my categories on the left, as is standard. Then, when a person lists everything in a category, it shows a new list of all the products IN that category as either a text list or thumbnails, and then when they PICK a product, it shows that product on the right but the list stays on the screen.



So basically, if a person where to pick "Dogs" and then had a listing of all the 'dogs' to buy in a category where each dog is a single product.. Instead of then having to hit the back button to see the whole list again, it would always be on the screen. Obviously I would have to modify it to be a lot smaller and look tidy.. but I'm not sure how to -always- have the category listing on the screen, even if you're viewing an individual product.

What you want is generally not a function theat Zen Cart has in the base code.

You would have to create some php code to enable what you want and this might be reasonably extensive.
