Install script still not working...

I'm trying to do an install for a client and the script just gives me a text. She said she upgraded to have SQL, but I still don't think she has php enabled. I don't see a php.ini file anywhere in her files, so does that mean she doesn't? I'm not sure she knows exactly what she needs...

Make a simple script, test.php and load to the server:

<?php
echo 'hello world';
?>

Does it run?

I get a pop up box asking if I want to open or save the file...

Things do not look good for you ...

Time to speak with the hosting site and get php and MySQL running properly ...

Could just be a configuration issue with the server ...

Note: not all servers have a php.ini for you to work with ...

Well, that's not my department, LOL...I just set up Zen, customize a template and get everything working properly for downloadable products. If she has server issues, she just has to resolve them before I can install it for her...if only she'd just let me recommend my host, but he's more expensive and some don't want to pay for great service. Anyway, thanks, Linda, for at least helping me know where we are on this! You guys are awesome over here!

Hopefully it is just a silly ol' sever configuration issue that can be resolved quickly and easily ... and not a start of ... umm ... you know ... a nightmare ...
