Discount Code w/ Purchase?

Hi all, sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find it. Here's my question- is there any way to send out a discount code email in ZC when someone buys a product? I've been looking through my cart (Ver. 1.3.0) admin panel, but haven't found anything yet. Thanks in advance.

Automatically created, with a coupon code we've already made.

This is not a current feature of Zen Cart ...

However, being php ... and Zen Cart being such a groovy e-commerce solution ... it could be customized to do just that ...

That's what I was prepared to do, just crack open the PHP and find where the email is generated by ZC when someone buys something, and just alter it so the discount code is in the email. Thanks, Ajeh. :)

Sorry to bump this, but I have a semi-related question. Is there any way ZC can be configured to send out an automated email once a month to customers or administrators? Thanks.

Depends on the word automate ...

You get a button and click it once a month ... semi-automated

You right a test for is it the 1st ... and if so ... first hit runs it ... semi-automated but need a logic for little johnny tripped this and when tommy comes in 5 minutes later don't do it ...
