    Default Temporarily disable attributes

We aren't posting inventory but want to manually turn off specific size attributes when out of stock. Is it possible to do that?

I think that you can make the specific size attribute 'for display only' and get the effect.

How do you do that and does it then give some indication that the item is out of stock/
