Info for everyone on Paypal for UK

Hello all,

I thought i just let everyone who would be interested in paypal in the UK. Currently according to there demo, there completely different page that comes up when you go to checkout, i.e a customer has option of both chosing credit card or log into pay pal right next to each other making it look professional.

Please find the attached diagram to see what i mean.

Anyways i was not getttin this page and so i got in contact with paypal and they pointed that i was using the wrong address to point to paypal.

Currently by default it points to www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr, however if you change that to www.paypal.com/uk/cgi-bin/webscr you will get a more proffesinal looking page.

I hope this info can be useful to someone in the future as i struggled to sort this going through all paypal manuals and this forum.

Hi waghelak

Do you need to alter any other settings to get this? I've changed the URL to the UK version but I'm still getting the old style page.

I have a business and premier account but neither would show the layout that you showed.

Have a missed a setting?

Hopefully they will reduce their fees when google have a uk version of their checkout out (counting the days).
