    Same issue. I think is a problem at the ISP!!

    The connection was reset

    The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

    I'm seeing an admin login prompt, in IE, FF, Opera.

    YES if type wrong user and pass it gives an error

    use the correct one... is when it hangs and gives the error.

    This may be an issue with your server being unable to contact the zen-cart versioning server to determine whether your software is current or not. Timeouts often occur in offline or local-server testing situations.

    To disable the automated checking, edit the /admin/includes/local/skip_version_check.ini file

    set "admin_configure_php_check" = off


    It's recommended that you leave this setting to "on" for your live website.
