    Copyright on templates???Please Help....

All right so i'll start by saying first PLEASE be patient with me as i am new to this whole web design thing, i am the company's video editor and now they decided they want me to update their website and add an online store.....so i went to the downloads section and download the SAGE template (hats off to you who created it, very nice!!!!) anyways heres my question since i have not changed anything, its considered copyrighted by zencart or whoever created it correct? so i should not change the copyright info to say our store name unless we were the ones who created it ? also then do i have to leave both zencart logos (one of right side and then another on bottom) on the site as well?

This whole thing is murky to me , i understand copyright laws as in regards to video and print use but since i haven't really done anyways web design i want to double check before i do anything.....Yes i have also searched all the posts and couldn't find a specific answer to my question....

    Thanks

Here's what the FAQ has to say about this
Copyright © 200X Zen Cart covers the design and graphics in the templates. If you are using a stock template with the included graphics you must leave the copyright. If you make a custom template and use your own graphics you may change the copyright.

Thanks for answering that portion of the question, but then do i need to leave all 3 of the zencart links(logos, banners, not really sure what they're called) on the page or can we take the site down to just one? thanks for all of your help

It's only the copyright statement that you would need to keep, not the graphics and if you dispense with the graphics, you can drop the copyright statement as well.
