It did not work.
How about if I run the update process in the core? would it be possible?

Ok.
here's my problem:
Actually my product have 2 attributes. I want my product to be added to my cart once per attribute.
But if I add same product with same attribute twice, it added to my cart which is supposed to be once only. I configured my products to only max of 1 and show no quantity text box.
But the strange part is, hen I click update, all the product hich has a quantity more than one is corrected and set to "1".
I tried swtching it to classic template but still the same. I want to try it on the core side maybe to access the update cart function would be the best but i dont know how to do it. can you help me? Thanks....
Perhaps you can start by installing a fresh copy of Zen Cart in another folder on your server (and a different database).
Then, once it's working properly in the fresh install, slowly and carefully add your customizations to it, testing after each changed file is uploaded... eventually you'll find which of your customized files is causing the problem.

I just simply upgrade. I just need the quickest way to do this. sometimes upgrading is critical to this king of ecommerse. coz I have heard some new about it so i dont wanna go thru upgrade until i find a forum that will surely guide me very well.
Upgrades are important. But that's got nothing to do with troubleshooting.
It seems that something has been broken by your customizations.
You didn't say where your template came from. Did you purchase it, or did you make it yourself? If you purchased it, have you any idea what Zen Cart version the template was designed for?
You also didn't indicate which Zen Cart version you are upgrading from, and what steps you have taken to do the upgrade.
I'm not sure what you mean by "core side"... hence my suggestion earlier to install a fresh copy of Zen Cart in another folder to test it uncustomized. If you let it install the demo products, that would let you add something to your cart, and do updates, etc, and see whether it works properly for you.I want to try it on the core side maybe to access the update cart function would be the best but i dont know how to do it. can you help me?
