    Default Permission problem

Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home/sowuk2/public_html/shop/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file (read-only, CHMOD 644 or 444 are typical).

That is what keeps showing up even though the permission is set 644. Any help on how to get it off

If 644 does not work then try 444 or 400.

Use your hosting control panel to set the permissions.
Some hosts don't allow the use of FTP software to set files as low as 444.

I am getting the same thing....

The odd thing is, my site was working fine for months. Then just today, about an hour ago, this pops up. I tried 644, 400, and 444. Still gives me the same problem.

It doesn't look good with that on the top line - how can I fix this asap so it doesn't shy customers away?

Well ... if it was fine yesterday and you haven't changed anything, that sorta' leaves your host.

I kind of knew that, just had to hear it for reassurance. I am checking with them now.

Thank you for the amazing quick responses.
