My Customer Discount Not Working

Hi All,

I have created a new category at the group pricing (Friends - 20%). I edited one of my customers and add him at the discount group pricing at the options category. But now whenever he try to buy anything, there is no auto discount after he check out.

Another question, what is Customer Referral 1st discount coupon? This option is just below the Discount Group Pricing at the customers editing.

Please help.

I am having one error now.

Customer have not bought anything yet. I checked out but skipped the last step of confirmation on the shopping cart.

Now in admin, gift certificate shows that it has been redeemed.

But in customer login, gift certifiate is still present.

I tried to use customer login to enter the gift certificate again and try repurchasing an item, but the code can no longer be used.

How do I settle this problem? seems like a conflict or miscommunication.

Entering the Gift Certificate Redemption Code gives that amount to the customer to use during the Checkout Process ...

On the checkout_payment ... you will see an entry for Amount to apply and amount available with an input box, example:

Apply Amount:
Available balance: $100.00

Redeeming just added the GV amount to the customer's account ... now they have to say how much they want to apply to the total of the order, which is located on the same page above that in the box:

Your Total
Sub-Total: $39.99
Flat Rate (Best Way): $5.00
Total: $44.99

Once they enter the amount ... if it covers the order they will go on to the checkout_confirmation ...

If it cannot cover the order they need to pick a payment module for the rest of the order total ...
