secure certificate

Where should I apply the secure certificate to secure the shopping cart during a purchase?

But that would make the entire web site secure, when all I need is to have just the shopping cart secure. Or am I wrong here?

you need to purchase your SSL, then turn it ON is zen cart,
it will ONLY make the parts secure that need to be.

and the best place to purchase your SSL id from your host.
