stock inventory question

Hi, just tip toeing though learning zencart. I have a clothing range site i am helping out with and they want to be able to have the stock count specific to sizing and fabric colour for accurate inventory control. Currenty it is only taking notice of the garment sold. How do I seperate this item out eg building the product category? I hope this question makes sence as I am more than a little befuddled at the moment. I would really appreciate any info on this I am not sure of the topic to look up. Thanks, lparton.

Stock by attribute is not an included feature of Zen Cart at this time. It is coming in the next major release.

Kim, Thanks for your reply, at least I know I am not going completely nuts then. I will stop looking and try and figure out another way of making this work better for them. Thanks again. Lparton
