How To Add Free Item to All Orders Over Certain Amount?

The topic pretty much says it all. Is there a way to automatically add to the shopping cart an item if the amount if over a certain amount?

For example, I am running a promotion that has all orders over $25.00 receiving a free item. It would be cool if ZenCart had a way to automatically add this item to the invoice so that our packaging people wouldn't have to remember when to include this gift. It would just show up on the invoice. Know what I mean?

Is there anyway to currently do this?

The infrastructure to allow this exists, but will require some custom coding.
