    Default Checkout doesn't work when you change address

    Checkout works just fine, unless you decide to change your shipping address on the first step.

    If you do change the shipping address on the first step, it takes you to a page that shows your new address, but then no shipping options below, just the message box and the "continue" button. When trying to continue, you are bounced back to step 1, because you haven't chosen a shipping option.

    Zen Cart Version 1.3.0.2
    PHP Version: 4.4.2 (Zend: 1.3.0)
    Database: MySQL 4.1.19-standard
    Server OS: Linux 2.4.21-27.ELsmp

    Is this a bug with 1.3.0.2 or something wrong with just this site?

    Just a note that I've looked at this a bit more, and if I use the second address, I can never get shipping choices during checkout, and if I switch back to the first one, it works fine. There seems to be a problem recognizing any addresses other than the original one entered when registering.

    I did find a way around this.. granted that it's half-arsed..

    after adding the shipping address and losing the shipping methods.. go to 'my account' and edit/re-save the shipping address.. then back to checkout and bam-o.. it works.. pretty wild..

    Just thought that I'd add my little 'observance' to this in the insignificant hope that it helps somehow..

    I have an addition to this one: If you have two addresses in your account, tax is calculated based on the default address, rather than the address you're checking out with, which is obviously problematic if one of the addresses is in the shop's state and one isn't. Any news on this one? :)

    That could be related to the bug, or it could be a result of how you have your Tax Basis configured.... Admin->Configuration->My Store->Tax Basis (product) and (shipping)

    Some more info on this, if it helps. I think this is the same bug. My client tested her site and reported this back to me:

    "The only problem I ran into is that when you enter the shipping address in the Check out: Step 1 - Delivery Information Page it doesn't calculate any tax on the new address. However, if you enter the exact same address into the address book and select it from there during check out it calculates the tax rate perfectly.

    I've also noticed (and I'm not sure if this is related) that you can enter invalid addresses if you enter them in the Check out Step 1 page. For instance, you can enter the prov. as British Columbia and the Country as USA. If you try and enter this same invalid address into the address book directly it doesn't accept it and propmts you to choose a State."

    just installed v1.3.5 and i still have this issue... any news?
