Okay...

Ill play around with it and see if this new version makes sense. I can run two versions of ZenCart on my webserver right?... if they are under two different file folders? Im really new to all this computer on-line stuff and learning very slowly...

Id like to get the new version up and running to my specific needs then shut the old one down and replace it with the new one by changing the name of the directory folder...

Does that process sound safe? I wont transfer the main files from the old version but can I transfer my products without having to reupload everything?

Use 2 different directories and 2 different databases ...

Make sure the configure.php files are customized for the right directories/paths and correct databases ...

And don't forget to BACKUP!!!

Ive upgraded to the new version and am already blown away by the new changes... Looks like it was worth it after all...

Question I still have though is how to transfer my products to this new site. I looked in the forums but its pretty tough for me to figure out with my limited knowledge of computer stuff.

Is there some way I can paste data from my old files into the new files and have these products just show up? I went through the update in the ZenCart set up and some changes did appear but no products. I was thinking this would have solved my problem so I could move on to other minor things but no luck...
