    Default paypal payment complete w/o Order???

    Yesterday i had a paypal payment come through for an order created on our site. However i didnt get an order number created on our site. There is no order showing from this customer other than his account creation.

    I read through some posts about doing a 1cent refund via paypal to un-stick the transaction, however that didnt seem to help, the order is still not there.

    I contacted the customer and asked if he completed the sale through our site, which he confirmed he did, and was passed to paypal to make the payment. But i dont see any orders for him.

    Is there something else that im missing, or has anyone else come across this problem before? Also, how do i fix it? do i manualy create an order for the customer? or do i contact paypal on this matter?

    I have had other paypal payments come through since that one, so i know that its working, at least i think so.....

    Whats the problem, and how do i fix it?

    ALSO, i have my web dev working on a google checkout modual which should be live on our site today! If all goes well, i will let you all know.
    As of now its working correctly, just need to fix up the return API. ill post this under google checkout topic shortly.

    do a search on my name for paypal tutorial,
    there is an indepth tutorial there,
    also make sure that you are not using SEFU ( without the patch fopr paypal)
    make sure store is in live mode.
    not redirected
    and make sure that the email used in zen cart paypal module matches the PRIMARY email used in paypal.com and its case sensitive,
    you can check this bu going to paypal.com
    hit the profiles link in the nbavbar top right

    now hit email in the top of the left column.

    Iv checked all these things, all seems fine. I have processed paypal orders sucessfully since that one transaction that didnt come through. So i know that our system is working correctly.

    I contacted paypal on this matter, i was told that any hickup on our end or theres would cause the IPN to not come through, DUH!. They also said that it would try to resend for up to 4 days, unless it returned a HTTP200 error. Which i checked my logs and couldnt find anything like that. (although im not possitive what do look for exactly.)

    So with that said, they tell me that there is really nothing they can do if the site returned an error for the IPN, becuase paypal deletes the IPN data if eather of those situations accur. (HTTP200 or 4 days resend failed)

    So im not sure if i should manualy setup the order, or if i should just refund the payment.
