Hallooooooo there!
I've disabled New Products for the main page (Admin --> Configuration --> Index Listing --> Show new products on main page --> set to 0) and it worked as was anticipated...
However... I don't want New Products displayed on ANY page & I just cannot seem to figure out how to disabled it for ALL pages...Please can someone tell me how to do this? Please, please, please...
(I will be forever greatful)

you don't want NEW products displayed when someone looks at the ALL products listing?
Do you want them listed at all?.... I suppose you could turn them 'off' in admin/catalog-products /status... but is that what your really want....

I don't want it to display the new products box-thingy on any pages by default. If someone clicks on "New Products" / "All Products" link under category listings, fair enough, it must display them... but not at the bottom of every page!
(are u following? Even I'm lost... I'm not that good at putting thoughts into words...)

Does this work: Admin --> Configuration --> Maximum Values -> New Products Module = 0
.

It changes it so that it doesn't display products (which is very good...
) but it still shows the header bar that says: "New Products for July" 
Any thoughts on how to change that?

Back to the Admin->Configuration->Index Listing:
->Show New Products on Main Page - Category with SubCategories
->Show New Products - below Product Listing
->Show New Products on Main Page - Errors and Missing Products Page
... etc.
