Random E-mail Troubles

Im getting the new login e-mail conformation (as if I was a customer), newsletter subscribe and unsubscribe e-mails but no e-mails from 'tell a friend' or 'contact us'. Is there a connection between all of these options? Maybe I can track down the problem and fix it if something is related here.

Ive tried changing my e-mail settings through all four options provided in admin (smtp, etc...), tried the suggestions mentioned in related forums and called my host provider to make sure my mail box is set up (even my catch all) but still no luck in getting this to work.

Any ideas? Ive upgraded to version 1.3 and hoped that this same problem I was getting in 1.2 would be fixed with the new version. Obviously it must be something Im doing wrong because there was no instant fix with the new upload...

Switched some things around and now Im getting e-mails sent to all these options but contact us. Is there something Im doing wrong here? Ive added in the two addresses I wanted and got the drop down menu but when I send a test to either address nothing comes through...

- If you send a regular email from your admin - > tools - > send email page, do you receive the email ?

- If not, if you test from your zc_install/techsupp.php file, (instructions are included into the file itself on how to do so - on the top of the file), do you receive the email ?

I'd still recommend to upgrade to the latest version of Zen-Cart - v1.3.0.2 to fix some recent issues that were encountered in Zen-Cart v1.3 and Zen-Cart v1.3.1.

Is your contact email address configured properly under your configuration - > Email options page ?

All e-mails have been spelled right under admin...

I didnt realize there was another upgrade to 1.3. Would it fix things if I only replaced the changed files that I downloaded from the ZenCart site?

Ive already started changing things and I dont want to have to go in and spend hours all over again to set everything right...

It will definitely resolved some past issues that has been recently covered from earlier release (1.3x) of Zen-Cart.

If you used the overrides to make your customizations, and are compatible starting from Zen-Cart v1.3x, (and above), there shouldn't be any problems.

If not, then you should backup your modified files and compare them, by using - either - Winmerge or Beyond Compare 2 - with the newest release files (v1.3.0.2)'s readings to make sure that nothing is affected from your end.

Uploaded/replaced the new files from 1.3.0.2 but still have no fix to the e-mail contact us page. Im sending out tests to my other e-mail address but getting no deliveries... Any idea on how to fix this?

Seems strange that all the other e-mail notifications are working except this one. I even put through a fake order and got the appropriate response to both the 'buyer' and to the store admin...

With which delivery service are you related with and which web hosting service ?

Both with Yahoo... mail and webhosting is both through them...
