ship 2 methods combined?

I sell live and dry goods and currently have only live goods available on the web site. They have a table shipping rate of: 199:49.95,299:69.95,10000:0.00

I want to start selling dry goods as well now and want to be able to just ship per item weight on those items. I have tried to search and figure this out and not sure how to combine this or if I even can with the provided GUI in Admin

For example:
Customer buys live goods only = table shipping
Customer buys dry goods only = weight rate shipping
Customer buys live and dry goods = table and weight rate shipping combined.

Live Goods ship overnight
Dry Goods ship regular ground
I'm looking for ideas on the easiest way to set this up?

This is my situation with Live Goods. So I solved it with table rate shipping but now just want to sell dry goods too.
