Affiliate program module???

Ok I have download the JAM for ioncube and try to install in my local server for testing before upload to my hosting. It's giving me an error as following:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster AT domain DOT com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

please rename the .htaccess to htaccess.txt in your /affiliates folder, as it is possible your webhost does not support mod_rewrite
