When a product is put on sale it displays as the regular price with a horizontal line through it. In the case of a price with a numeral 8 in it, the 8 looks like it was a zero rather than an eight. When a family member first brought this to my attention I thought, oh yeah, I'll have to fix that, and put it on the long list of things I would eventually get to one day. But I can't believe how many people have picked up on this! The trouble is that given the right numbers it can make it appear as if the sale price is higher than the regular price. It amazes me that people don't then look closer and realize the issue, but in any case I really should try to do something about it![]()
Any ideas? Is there a way to make the line at an angle instead? Aside from finding the code for the sale price display, which I imagine I can do since I found many other posts about displaying sale prices differently, I need the knowledge of what makes a line display on a monitor anyway![]()
Love some input here as there are just too many variables here that I know nothing about. A little push in the right direction would go a long way.
Thanks!
