Moving Zen Cart to a new folder...

    Howdy,

I tried moving my ZC installation (completed) from one folder to another. I changed config.php to reflect the folder changed. Now when I try to access ZC it bounces to the zc_install folder which is no longer there.

I put the install folder back and checked over the System Inspection Results and see that my cache folder is still being looked for in the wrong place. That strikes me as odd, because as I said I updated config.php.

Any suggestions, either as to why it was looking for zc_install rather than index.php, or the cache issue?

    Thanks,

    ~L

Did you modify both config files and particularly the bottom lines that reflect the cache ?

Both? I only edited the one in admin/includes. Where is the other?

You'll need to update the sessions folder name in the admin ... either manually or using the fix-cache-key utility.

Here's the documentation for moving folders:

I'm up and going again. Thank you both. This is by far the fastest responce I've ever gotten at a tech forum. Its almost scary how fast that was.
