email error please help

I get this message everytime i try and send an email to my customers:

"Ran into problems sending Mail. Response: 503 Bad sequence of commands"

I can send to 1 at a time....but not all


what do i do?

What version of Zen Cart?
What are your email settings:
- email transport method
- SMTP settings (please blank-out the password etc)

well i got it figured out....

what happens is the webhost limits emails to 500 at a clip, i was trying to send out 577.

guess what....i got that error again....and i even sent under the server limits.

i am using zencart 1.2....upgrading really is not an option....i have avery customized site.


any suggestions?

You might try installing the phpMailer contribution for v1.2.x:
