    "Add to cart" button went missing

    Hi all!

    I'm having a common problem and that is that the "add to cart" button under the QTY BOX where all products are listed went missing after I installed a purchase order module. Here are the buttons I'm talking about:


    I've looked through about sixty different "add to cart" button missing threads and tried various solutions but was not able to restore it.

    (Side note: I also used to have a "more info..." link at the end of that description which would take the user to the detailed page about the item... it seems to have vanished - I'm not quite sure how to get it back)

    Notes:
    1) Store is not on showcase, it is on normal.

    2) Product listing is set to display add to cart see following image:



    3)Zen cart version 1.2.6

    4) Product types are set to display add to car for everything but document:


    5) I have no attributes that I know of - I don't even know how to add attributes.

    Any and all help would be appreciated.

    There are no individual Add to Cart buttons when using the Multiple Quantity Add to Cart feature ...

    Enter qty in box(es) ... hit enter or hit the Add Selected Products to Cart buttons ...

    That's strange, maybe I misundertood you.

    I remember having "add to cart" buttons right under the qty box.

    You input more than 1, and then just hit add to cart right below the box and it would add all of them to your cart.

    Am I remembering wrong?

    This isn't necessarily a problem. Looking back at older versions of Zen Cart, there does appear to have been an add cart in place of the quantity box that you now have, or "more info ..." text when the customer had to choose options before the product could be added to the cart.

    However, the current version of Zen Cart operates as your screen shots show, i.e. the customer chooses the quantity they want of each products and then presses the "add selected items to cart" button at the top and/or bottom of the list. So I suspect that your add-in is operating exactly as intended.

    Turn off the Multiple Add to Cart and you get the Add to Cart with no Quantity box ...

    Gee ... wouldn't it be neat if in a future release of Zen Cart your Product Listing let you have:

    1 multiple add to cart with quantity boxes

    2 individual add to cart button no quantity box

    3 individual add to cart button with quantity box

    Wouldn't that be neat?

    Next one coming will have all 3 options ... neat eh?

    Right now, you can have the Multiple Add to Cart with Qty Box or the Add to Cart button with no qty box ...

    I just spent the better part of the hour looking for the EZpages option... then I realized the reason I couldn't find it... probably only in one of the latest releases.

    Ack.. I guess I'll have to start digging through those upgrade threads and figure out how to upgrade. I'm ecstatic.
