Sitemap - unwanted pages

The sitemap at (http://chicapparel.co.uk/index.php?main_page=site_map ) is listing Pages 2, 3 & 4 even though they are set to 0 in admin>config>define_pages_status. Any ideas?

I have considered the option of removing/commenting out the code from tpl_site_map_default.php, but if the client should subsequently wish to use pages 2,3,4 I'd have to remember that I made that change!

In v1.3 or above ... I'd have to check if that got snuck in on v1.3.0.1 or v1.3.0.2 ... there are additional switches on the Define Page Status settings to turn on/off the links and definitions ...

There are other circumstances where you would need to actually touch the tpl_ file for the site map, but you might check to see if that is the issue ...

Oh I had those switches...but silly me assumed (yeah, I know, "never assume, check!" ) that 0 meant OFF (as it does with just about everything else that's switchable in admin).

Normally we try to keep 0 as OFF and FALSE as OFF and false as OFF and 'false' as OFF ...

However, when some things get expanded in concept, and the default on a bazillion shops for 0 having a different meaning ... we have to go a step further and break or alter the convention ...

This always weighs heavily on our minds when building these switches ...

We have to consider ...

you import data without a clue ...

you have an old shop upgraded umpteen times ...

you don't know there is a new switch ...

etc. etc. etc.

So ... every now and again ... gotta wait until the questions come and teach the lot of you the new solutions to pass on to the next set of Zen Cart users ...
