2 questions - help plz

1. How can I change the weight of my products from lbs to grams?

2. I have added a product to my shop, enabled payment via cheque, but in my shop I can see the product, but no buy button?? I have create an account and logged into my shop, I have set the release date to two months back.

Check to see if in the Catalog ... Product Types ... that all have an Add to Cart Y except for the Document General ...
