Most of these can be recreated ... but a few are important to know a little more about ...

If you had specials ... they are gone ...

If you had taxes ... they are gone ...

1 is this a live site?

2 do you have a backup from before this happened?

3 what exact version of Zen Cart are you using?

4 what version php?

5 what version MySQL?

Did you do a fresh install? Why dint you keep a backup?

-In my vDeck when I look in my database information i have an option to edit and repair. In my stores database info everything is there except the session table.
-In my php admin, it shows that it is looking for the sessions table.
Also the option to add a table is gone.

My main question is: If i do a fresh install, will i lose my customer information?
if so, can you help me get the version im running now fixed without losing that information so i can do an update after i back up my database.
(PS- i did have my database backed up but the file was curupt and wouldnt work.)

A fresh install will lose your database ...

A repair on the whole database might recover your database in full

Have you contacted your hosting site to see what happened that crashed your database?

How old is your last backup?

Does your hosting site have a backup from yesterday or newer?

If your hosting site has a backup from yesterday ... will you be at a major loss if you attempt a full database repair on your database ... and happen to lose everything and your hosting site has to restore their backup from yesterday?

WARNING: Before letting your hosting site just restore your database ... if they have a good, recent backup and you have nothing to lose attempting the repair first, I would attempt the repair first and see if all the tables are recovered ...

There is a good chance that the tables are there and just damaged and need the repair to restore them and a possiblity that nothing will be lost ...

Like I said before my host isnt helping me. so im on my own.
How can I find these tables and how do i repair them if they are there?
I see the zencartsessions in my query, but i know very little and have no idea what to do.

If they are not there, is there a way to save my customer information for a fresh install and then import?

Let's be brave and try to repair the database ...

Click on your database so that you see the list of all your database tables with the checkboxes next to them ...

Scroll all the way to the bottom ...

Do you see a Check All? If so click it ...

Next, from the dropdown, select Repair ...

Cross fingers and pray ... and let's see if this fixes things for you ...
