ZenCart Encryption

I was going through my ZenCart trying to fix a couple of things and noticed that the ZenCart Encryption isnt the same as phpbb... does anyone know what type of encryption ZenCart is using? I know phpbb encrypts everything into md5 values... but what about ZenCart?

Zen Cart uses MD5 + SALT
