    Default Shopping Cart Button issues

Using CSS buttons. In the Shopping Cart, the buttons won't align in FF when they are aligned in IE. In IE, the buttons are not all the same height!

I have replaced the update icon with an Update "button", but unless the zen_image_submit behaves differently in terms of appearance from zen_image_button then I don't suppose that has anything to do with it...that certainly won't have anything to do with the Continue Shopping and Checkout buttons being squashed in IE.

If it helps to see the problem, please go to https://chicapparel.co.uk/index.php?main_page=login and login in with testing AT globalteam DOT co DOT uk/testing then visit the shopping cart.

Not sure if this part matters or not, but I noticed that the code for the 'Checkout' button is the line before the 'Continue Shopping' and 'Update' This could have an effect on the +/- vertical nature of things. I find positioning using CSS to be a hair pulling experience, but I also haven't spent a lot of time with it. My way of handling it is with a negative Y value. Yet to find a better answer.

Well, I swapped that around to a more logical order, but that made no difference. I have now stripped out the various styles and left just the 3 instructions to display the buttons. This cured the "squashed" problem of the Continue & Checkout buttons, but I am now left with the Update button being deeper than the others and, although they all bottom-align perfectly in FF, the Update button is out of alignment in IE.

(If anyone goes to look again via the access in the first post - I'm not worried about the left-right positioning...this is wip!)

OK - this is definitely something to do with it being a zen_image_submit as opposed to a zen_image_button, as changing the Update to a button brings perfect sizing and alignment in both browsers...but no action! Still, progress of a sort...
